Well the tantrums started months ago but now his age has caught up. Actually Ryan's tantrums are starting to mellow although when he does state his mind there's no doubting his intentions. We've had a wonderful day hanging around home. We were woken to Ryan making noises in his room and then hearing the pitter patter of Caitlin outside Ryan's room saying "Ryan it's your birthday day today". What wonderful sounds to wake up to. Wasn't sure whether Ryan would recall the joy of presents way back in December but with a little rattle of presents, "play" and the mad dash to try and get into the wrapped pressies it was soon clear that he knew all about it. Grandad Ward is definitely the sellotape King! So with Grandma and Grandad Bus and our wonderful friends Shane and Sandra we celebrated with all the usual fairy bread, birthday cake (wonderfully decorated with the help of Caitlin last night) and of course eye fillet on the BBQ. Ryan has changed so much since arriving in Aussie, it's been two months of huge development, especially his humor anyway enough for now an early night is in order after a busy day.

Happy Birthday Ryan... We were thinking of you yesterday (We sang happy birthday Em always likes clapping at the end)- but I've been sick all weekend and didn't have the energy to ring - sorry! Also I have your present sitting here beside me - I'll post it this week I promise! And I'll ring Mummy this week too. XX
